The requirement

The challenge

AI-supported development tools are making it possible for more people to create digital products, but access to the tools alone does not automatically create capable builders. Learners still need to understand product thinking, requirements, prompting, design, testing, iteration, responsible use and the difference between a demo and a production-ready system.

There is also a gap between traditional coding education and the way many new builders are actually entering technology. KOAF wants to address that gap without pretending that AI removes the need for judgement or quality control.

The Academy must serve different learner types. Young learners need age-appropriate structure and parent visibility. Adults may want practical website or web-app skills. Families may enrol multiple children. Physical and online programmes have different logistics, pricing and scheduling requirements.

The build

How KOAF approached it

KOAF AI Builder Academy is structured around practical, project-led courses. Programme directions include KOAF Young AI Builders for ages 13–17, an AI Website Builder programme, an AI Web App/Dashboard Builder programme, AI Business/Digital Entrepreneurship and a complete AI Builder pathway.

The platform supports online learning and scheduled physical delivery in Abuja. It includes student enrolment, family/multi-child enrolment, parent dashboards, course configuration, passport/profile capture, OTP email verification, payment requests, manual bank-transfer proof and Paystack readiness where configured.

Admin controls cover programmes, pricing, delivery mode, class hours, payments, branding, media, OTP management and communication. The intention is for the operational platform to support the learning business rather than maintaining enrolments in disconnected forms or spreadsheets.

The learning philosophy emphasises understanding the product to be built, expressing requirements clearly to AI-assisted tools, inspecting the generated work, testing it, fixing problems and connecting technical output to a real user or business purpose.

Current position

What can be inspected today

The Academy platform is online and continues to evolve as KOAF develops the programme and its learning materials. It gives KOAF a dedicated skills-development product that can serve young learners, adults, schools and families while strengthening the wider workforce mission.

Verified learner totals, completion rates, employment outcomes or income claims are deliberately not included in the public case study until they can be supported by programme records. Future evidence should include enrolment, completion, projects built by learners, parent/student feedback and institutional training engagements where publication is approved.
